Everyone over at JD CNC has created an atmosphere full of learning and expanding. We are always looking to try new things and updating our skill set! This post is going to be short and sweet, but none-the-less informational. We have a couple new improvements that we are very happy to share with you... so keep reading!
Leather
Through quite a lot of trial and error we have finally found a great process to engrave and cut leather! This allows for quite an array of products to be available in our store VERY SOON! You will see that we are already adding stockings with personalized leather patches. These patches are not sewn but attached with a very strong leather adhesive. These are great to use for years to come!

We are going to have available customizable patches, pre-cut leather patterns to sew, and so much more! We engrave, clean, oil, and apply iron on adhesives (if required) so that our customers can have ease of use when ordering from us. We are so excited to be able to offer leather as a new medium in our store!
Engraving Pictures
Among different materials to which engrave, we also work on new skillsets that offer our customers a wider range of product options to choose from. We have FINALLY figured out how to engrave photos with such great detail that we are willing to start offering this to our customers! How exciting!

On the website, you will soon find our 8"x12" slate plaques that are going to be the first options that you have for photo engraving. We have only mastered the craft of image engraving on slate for right now but are doing our best to expand!
Packaging Updates
We have sent some packages out over the past couple weeks and have taken feedback on what customers liked and didn't like and what we need to do to improve. We are going to be updating some of our packaging material however that wasn't the biggest concern or question that we had received.
With a lot of our products including lanterns and home decor, we design them with shipping in mind. A lot of our 3D products have the ability to be taken apart and packaged flat, which in turn, means there will be a little bit of assembling required with them.

We have been creating products for some time now and what may seem easy for us, since we have designed them, is not always self-explanatory to customers. So, we are working on creating instructions to package with the products, which will include QR codes that are linked to videos that will show you how to put the products together.
This will hopefully improve user experience and allow for customers to not have to reach out in order to fully enjoy their recently purchased products.
Partnerships
We are coming into the holiday season, and we have some WONDERFUL news regarding new products! We are going to be teaming up with Pats Perfect Produce, from Sarver, Pennsylvania, to bring you LIVE wreaths and other decorations this holiday season!
We haven't finalized all of the products that we are doing however, you are NOT going to want to miss it. We will have add-ons to products, such as live swags to go along with our advent calendars and DIY wreath kits that will include wreaths, and personalized decorations to paint and attach to the wreaths!

We love engaging with our community and partnering up with other small business's. This is going to be quite a great holiday season!
