Good morning and thank you again for reading our blog and following along with our small business journey! This past month has been quite hectic to say the least, as holidays always are, so that is why we are a little late getting the blog out. Our apologies to anyone that looks forward to a good Sunday read when we upload our blogs!

So now, let’s get into what’s going on, what we have coming up, and what we are planning in the future!
Events, Events, and more Events!
We have such a huge milestone happening this weekend on December 10th, 2022! We are going to be hosting our very first DIY event…. hopefully the first of many! If you have not already signed up or taken a look at what’s going on, we have created an event on our website called DIY Sign Event…. not very clever, but hey, they’ll get better as time goes on!

Once you sign up you will be asked a few questions, one including what you would like on your sign! These signs are personalized, so that is why we ask that you sign up. These signs are 3 layers of laser cut wood that you are going to be able to paint to your liking and piece together one geometric shape at a time! So much fun!
While the paint is drying you will have the opportunity to buy merchandise, enter in raffles, have some virgin mimosas and hot chocolate, and socialize with all of the other wonderful followers that have decided to take on this adventure with us! There will be a place to take photos, snacks, music, and much more!

New Kits!
If you have been following us for any amount of time, you know how much we LOVE our paint kits! Now, we are a little behind on the season this year, however, this did take some planning and coordinating with, Pats Perfect Produce, to make this happen…but, we have a DIY wreath kit available on the website now!

Everything that you will need to have a great time creating the perfect holiday decoration! We will have these available on the store and we will also be selling them at a discounted price if you buy in bulk (over 10). Are you and the girls looking to do something fun, almost like a painting with a twist, but maybe you wanted something new and different? Well, these are perfect, extremely affordable and cute too!

Looking Forward to Next Year
We are so excited for what we have in store for JD CNC next year! We are working on new products, new events, a new location and so much more!
We are hoping to have 1 – 2 events each month starting in February. They will range from sign making, to wreath making, to design your own products and so much more! Our main locations will be in Spring Church, PA and in Sarver, PA. This may change in the future, but for now. These locations are where our biggest followers are!
Along with these workshops, we are hoping to offer the ability to have these workshops hosted at your homes as well, let us know how many kits you would like, if you would like one of us to be there with you walking you through it, or if you just want the kits sent to your house and you can be on your way! This is our main goal for next year because events, fun projects, and bringing the communities together are some of our main goals for this business!
We are also hopeful that 2023 will also be the year that we can offer photo engraving on multiple forms of material other than just slate.

Slate is GORGEOUS, but we have had so many customers wanting photos on wood that we are trying our hardest to make it happen!
On top of events and new techniques, we are also creating a "Design Your Own" section on the website! You will be able to print out Templates from your computer that you can color on and design for slate coasters, mugs, and so much more! Then you upload it back onto the website and we will put your very own design on the product that you choose. This is going to be wonderful for kids to be able to design or color a picture and for it to be on something that you can keep forever! Great gifts for parents and grandparents for keepsakes!
Looking Back
2022 was a year for learning, to say the least! We have had a lot of success and some failures along the way, but these are what are shaping us to be the small business that we are. This past year we have met so many new customers and had the opportunity to work with so many new people, that we are happy to say 2022 has been our most successful year yet! We could not do it without the help from our friends, family, and most importantly our followers! So, thank you!
